Poly-Memory-Gel Shims are created from an innovative blend of cushioning materials that allow impact zones caused by saddle or rider to be absorbed evenly, removing pressure points and discomfort for both horse and rider.

Each shim has a tapered edge that blends seamlessly under the saddle to prevent pressure points. 

Front and back shims can be used to help correct a variety of saddle fit issues. Shims can be used in combination with full PMG inserts.

Our Western shimmable saddle pads feature easy-open Velcro pockets that allow you to insert and remove shims effortlessly.

Materials & Construction

Made in Canada with an 85% black cotton underside for breathability and moisture wicking. A poly fill core adds cushioning and durability, while the micro-suede top offers 4-way grip. Finished with fade-resistant materials and dual girth strap options for a secure, customized fit.

Care Instructions

Regular Cleaning:

  • Remove dirt and sweat after each use
  • Use a stiff brush to remove dried mud
  • Spot clean with mild soap and water

Deep Cleaning:

  • Hand wash in cold water with colour-safe
  • Rinse thoroughly and squeeze gently (do not wring)
  • Air dry flat away from direct sunlight
  • Brush when dry to restore texture

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place with good air circulation.
